Teaching weather in ESL class
Use weather cards to contrast conditions that learners often confuse, such as windy and stormy or cold and snowy. Gestures make the differences memorable.
Once the core words are secure, connect the weather to seasons and clothes: a coat for cold days, boots for rainy days, and a hat for sunny weather.
