Online Safety and Reporting Policy

1. Scope

Classendo provides user-to-user features because adult teachers can publish lesson sets and uploaded material that other users encounter. We operate proportionate systems intended to reduce illegal-content risk while supporting legitimate educational sharing.

2. Children

Accounts and community publishing are restricted to people aged 18 or over. Children may see teacher-selected content during supervised classroom activities, but Classendo is not offered to them as an independent account-based service. We assess whether children are likely to access relevant parts of the service and review that assessment when features materially change.

3. Risk management

• Maintain written illegal-content and children-access assessments and review them at least annually and before significant relevant changes.
• Provide content reporting and complaints routes that are accessible to users.
• Use proportionate moderation, access controls, records and escalation processes.
• Remove illegal content swiftly when we become aware of it and preserve or report material where law requires.
• Name an accountable individual within Classendo for online-safety compliance.

4. Reporting content

Use the in-product Report control or email classendosupport@gmail.com with the subject “Urgent safety report”. Include the URL or set name, the type of concern, relevant context and whether there is an immediate threat. Do not download, copy or email suspected child sexual abuse material or other illegal files.

If someone is in immediate danger, contact the relevant emergency service. Classendo support is not an emergency service.

5. Complaints

You may complain if you believe we failed to act on illegal content, wrongly restricted lawful content, or did not apply our Terms consistently. We will acknowledge, assess and determine complaints within a reasonable period based on urgency and complexity, and explain the outcome where legally and operationally appropriate.

6. Law-enforcement and regulatory cooperation

We respond to valid legal requests and make mandatory reports to the appropriate authorities where required. We do not promise confidentiality where disclosure is necessary to protect a person, investigate illegal activity or comply with law.
